Amazing Longevity Publishes a Longevity Fitness Guide Based on Public Health Guidelines

Amazing Longevity has published a cited guide to strength, steady aerobic exercise, mobility and recovery, based on WHO, CDC, HHS and NHS guidance.

Press release · Koh Samui, Thailand · October 8, 2026

KOH SAMUI, Oct. 8, 2026 — Amazing Longevity has published "Longevity fitness: strength, zone 2, mobility and recovery," a guide on amazing-longevity.com that explains four building blocks of training for a long, active life in plain language and shows what public health guidelines say about each one.

The guide draws on published guidance from the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans and the NHS. Its sources are listed on the page and were checked on Oct. 8, 2026.

The guide covers:

  • Strength: muscle-strengthening activity for all major muscle groups on at least two days a week, as recommended by the WHO, the U.S. guidelines and the NHS, with common coaching principles such as learning the movement before adding load.
  • Zone 2: what the coaching term means, why it has no single official definition, and how it relates to moderate-intensity activity, including the "talk test." The WHO recommends at least 150 to 300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity a week for adults, or 75 to 150 minutes of vigorous activity, or an equivalent mix.
  • Mobility and balance: activities such as yoga, Pilates, tai chi and simple balance drills, with the NHS and WHO guidance for adults 65 and older.
  • Recovery: rest days, breaking up long periods of sitting, and sleep.

The guide is general education, not a training plan or medical advice. It asks readers to check with their doctor before starting a new exercise program or stepping up intensity, and to stop and get medical help if they have chest pain, faintness or unusual breathlessness. It makes no claim that recovery devices such as massage guns, compression boots, saunas or cold plunges speed recovery or improve health.

The page explains how Amazing Longevity makes money: some links to gear, apps or memberships may be affiliate links, and paid placements are always labeled as sponsored. Amazing Longevity is also looking for a small number of gyms and studios to partner with. Any referral fee would be agreed in writing first and would not change a member's price, and partners will be named only once an agreement is signed.
